Capital formation is often treated like a process: a pipeline to manage, a list of meetings to schedule, a fundraise to close. We see it differently. Capital moves when there is trust. Trust is built through human connection.

We partner closely with a small number of investment managers, embedding ourselves within their teams to meet their capital formation and investor relations needs. Not just as intermediaries, but as strategic partners who help shape the narrative, and build genuine conviction with investors.

Over time, we have developed deep relationships across institutional investors, family offices, wealth platforms and high-net-worth investors. Those relationships are built carefully, and we curate opportunities thoughtfully; only introducing the managers we believe truly deserve their attention. Because we believe that capital formation is not just transactional. It is relational.

wHAT WE DO

We don't operate as a traditional placement agent. We work selectively with a small number of fund managers at a time, bringing the full weight of our attention, and our network, to every mandate that we accept.

  • We partner with a small number of managers to design, build and operate the capital formation arm of their business. We don’t simply act as an intermediary. Instead, we work as an extension of their team to grow a loyal investor base.

    Our services include:

    • Strategy & Positioning: Developing the marketing strategy and investor-focused messaging to clarify what makes a fund distinctive.

    • Materials & Documentation:
      Preparing pitch decks, due diligence materials, and supporting documentation in a way that communicates the strategy clearly and memorably.

    • Roadshow Support: Coordinating prospective investor meetings across Australia and New Zealand.

    • Platform Access: Identifying and facilitating listing on suitable wealth management platforms.

    • Investor Identification: Researching and approaching prospective investors across our network of family offices, wealth managers, and high net worth investors that are aligned with the fund.

    • Commitment Execution: Managing the path from initial expression of interest to signed commitment.

  • Whether or not a manager is actively raising capital, we continue to manage, strengthen and grow their investor relationships through meaningful communications and events that keep their fund front of mind.

    Our services include:

    • Relationship Management: Implementing engagement strategies across their investor base through meetings, events, and targeted communications.

    • Communications & Reporting:
      Drafting and coordinating investor updates, quarterly letters, and reporting materials that keep investors informed and engaged.

    • Community Building: Organising events (both in-person and online) that deepen connection and engagement between investors, managers, portfolio companies, and the broader investment community.

    • Systems & Processes: Building or improving CRM infrastructure to manage growing investor relationships, with a focus on efficiency and data integrity.

    • Investor Support: Working with internal finance and operations teams to manage queries, clarify performance, and maintain transparency.

    • Pipeline Development:
      Identifying and cultivating relationships with prospective investors for future raises and co-investment opportunities.

After years working in the investment industry, Victoria came to believe that great capital formation is not simply about presenting numbers. It is about shaping understanding. She works closely with investment managers to articulate what truly differentiates their strategy, helping translate complex ideas into narratives that resonate with investors and stay in their minds beyond the first meeting. Her work sits at the intersection of strategy, storytelling and investor psychology. She understands not only what a manager does, but why it matters and how to translate that into a message that lands. She believes that capital formation at its best is about creating alignment between investors, managers and founders. By focusing on this, she builds partnerships that last.

Jess Koops, Partner

Jess ensures that the infrastructure behind each partnership operates with clarity, discipline and precision. A former corporate lawyer, Jess has an instinct for navigating complexity and bringing structure to moving parts. She works across strategy, operations and investor engagement to build the systems and processes that support thoughtful, long-term partnerships. Jess brings a calm, methodical perspective to what can often be an unpredictable process, helping translate ideas into clear execution. Her work forms the operational backbone of Elahra, ensuring that every investor touchpoint is intentional and considered.
